What kind of driving requires a $50K+ car? What kind of driving requires wheels worth 1000$ each?

And that bottle of wine, who cares if it's worth 100$, you can get some for 5$ at the grocery store. ;)

(IMO it isn't worse than smoking, good earphones don't cause cancer and aren't burnt, you get to keep them forever if you take care of them.)

OK, my question was what work he does that utilizes $700+ headphones, not "why did you spend $700 on headphones?" He wants to drop some coinage on sweet headphones, that's his thing. Not judging, just curious.

Ha. That's just the tip of the iceberg my friend. A high end custom made headphone are up in the $1500 range.

Some people just love their high quality music and i don't blame them. These aren't people however just walking around with iPhones for the most part. These guys have amps connected to their devices and nothing but losless music. Expensive hobby, but what isn't?

I just getting into DSLR photography. No need to tell me about expensive hobbies :D $1,500 headphones? Wow.

Agreed. I wish the CD/vinyl generation would not be relegated to "audiophiles." One now has to search for CD and record stores. :( My favorite so far is driving Freakbeat records in Sherman Oaks CA. Amoeba is fun as well. It's sad to see the public no longer listening to the quality of the recordings, and accepting lossless audio.

Sidenote: Cds....don't even get me started on the damn loudness wars....

Took 15 minutes to setup and works great so far!

I just ordered:
Image

I highly recommend the Multiliner SPs. I ordered the ones you got originally and something happened to the tip of my .3, so I ordered an SP .3 to replace it. And now I'm replacing all of them with SPs. I believe they use the same ink, but the weight and feel of the pen is so much better.

With the new IOS coming out next week, thought would be a good idea to get the Apple TV to use with the new Airplay Mirroring feature.

My New Stuff on Flikr

In about a week I will have all my new stuff. I had to ship it to my home in Virginia Beach and currently I am in Manama, Bahrain. So there is a whole lot more than what is posted right now.

1x 32gb Black iPhone 4s to replace the 32gb black iPhone 4 which i have just sold for £290, also really struggled with the colour but i think black is more fitting.

Like many others on this forum, I have my copy of Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs pre-ordered on iBooks.

Also, I bought a new pair of running shoes (Saucony Progrid Kinvara 2)!

I bought my 3rd pair of Denon 560R iPhone IEMs, even though I have the Samsung Galaxy II. Good earphones, but expensive! My last pair kept shorting out due to a faulty cable, and I broke my first pair. These sound better than the Klipsch S4i (which I have also owned). Besides, I couldn't wait for the new Klipsch S4a for Android (!!!!!!) to be released. That's what I really want, since I want a fully functional remote more than anything else.

And then there's my new bike, since my bike got stolen 3 weeks ago. I got this bike 2 weeks ago, but I've been extremely busy with work, and never got a chance to really ride it until today!

I also bought a new bike helmet today. No photo. It looks like a bike helmet.

Bought a new hat, since the strap on the back broke on my last one. Nothing special. Just saw it on a shelf and I liked the colours. I only wear "trucker" style caps, and none of the flat-brim nonsense that teenagers wear.

Nice purchase. I can see that you're a Bose fan.

What is your personal opinion on this Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker? Does its wireless connection work well? Have you experienced any dropouts in wireless connection while playing music through an iPod or something connected to it?

Sorry I didn't notice your post until now. I am very happy with this product. As long as your within BT range there are not any drop out issues and the audio quality over bluetooth is good. Very good.

two tickets to Zac Brown on Dec. 29th, and I ordered The Hunger Games books from Amazon!!

Thanks for the info. If I end up liking the Multiliners, I'll upgrade to the SPs once I start using them up.

They do use the same ink....the main difference is that the parts are replaceable with the SPs.
