Been a surprisingly busy month considering friends are working, GF is at school, family is busy, and I'm a broke unemployed graduate, lol.

Just got back from a nine day trip in PA/NJ/NY. Grabbed the magazine right before my plane was delayed for two hours on the tarmac... ugh.

Image

Had to stop and grab some goodies from the Nintendo World Store... man am I too old for that place! Grabbed two mugs while I was there; one is for my best bud.

Image

Image

... I also grabbed four $4 cookies (!) from Levain Bakery. They're my GF's favorite, and I couldn't come back home empty handed, now could I? Unfortunately, no pics of those, as they're way back in my cupboard and I'm lazy.

Moving on, while I was gone the fan controller I bought from a user on [H] arrived. Basically brand new. But I need some 4-pin -> 2-pin fan adapters. Anyone happen to know where I can find some cheap ones?

Image

And crap do I need to replace that BR drive with one that actually matches!

Also finally got to mess around with my new 4S that arrived last Friday! Honestly, my 3GS was still doing alright, but this phone is *SO* much faster!

Image

I grabbed Forza last night from Best Buy. They wouldn't PM the TRU B2G1 deal; but I had store credit. Hoping they run their own B2G1 here soon, and so I can return/rebuy. And my apologies if I've already posted the Ico/SotC pickup.

Image

And finally, here's a picture of my beautiful GF with the pumpkins we picked at the (not really) local pumpkin patch:

;p

I got a similar reply on Gaf.

Eh, no, not bad at all. I ain't complaining. That said, the trip was covered because I was doing manual labor in that area for about six days of it; I paid for the computer parts with PayPal money I got for selling game codes I got for free; the games were more than half off; and the 3GS I sell should offset a big chunk of the 4S. I'm certainly not "roughing it"; but I'm also *really* good at stretching my dollar! :)

13" Sandy MBP with 8GB memory and 256GB SSD. Replacement for my Santa Rosa 15" that finally bit the bullet.

As a broke unemployed undergrad student, I have to say you're doing a bang up job man! iPhone 4S, pretty nifty alienware machine that can't be more than a year or two old, and a nice gf? And a trip to NY? WTH! You broke? :D

Hell even I'm not broke. Broke is eating ramen. EVERY MEAL.

It looks like a Civic from the front with after market head lights to be honest.

Thats the way that generation civic looks everywhere except for US (and UK)

I wish we had this in the US. Would be like a modern day Integra. The smallest (and cheapest) we get is the TSX.

there are rumors that they will start selling that in the states. possible w/ a k24.

I love the look of the CSX; I drive a '07 Civic Si Sedan and would much prefer the styling of the CSX.

The 2012 Civic Si has a K24, thats probably where the rumor came from.

Random question, but how did you manage to clear all your icons off the home screen (aside from the 4 on your dock) on your iphone?

I'm not the OP, but you just move all the icons to the next screen. The first screen is permanent so it won't go away (unlike the other screens), even if you remove all the icons.

Ordered one of those, along with another wheel set, tubes and some Continental tyres that are designed for this purpose only. I think I'm safe to use that. Ordered today, seems like it'll arrive tomorrow.

That's about the only kind of bike riding I might be allowed to do for a while - it's safe - I won't fall and upset my back injury - which is the main reason they won't let me ride a bike at the moment.

Not quite my last purchase, but definitely a purchase I'll never regret of making.
Gonna get a separate power supply and a remote for this baby soon.

Tumi jacket for $89 at Nordstrom Rack. Normally costs $235. Since I lost like 45-50lbs. All my jackets are too big!

I guess my last "real" purchase is my tuition. 1400$ for a semester, not bad compared to other places *cough*USA*cough*, but the government is bringing that up to 2200$ in 5 years.

I'm jealous.

Arizona State (with in state tuition) is almost $6000 a semester now. This ish is expensive.

Also, my last real purchase was a Nixon watch. The Spencer (Matte Black/Gold). I love it.

Congrats! I'm on my way to losing 50lbs. Have only lost 28 so far. Soo ready!

Congrats to both of you. I use to weigh 365 almost 6 years ago. Took me about 8 months to get to 185 and have fortunately kept the weight off (currently 190).

Pennsylvania College of Tech here is running me $13k a semester for 17 credits, thats in-state price... Freaking $536 a credit :(

Nice watch, what did that cost you?
