So I think I scored a amazing deal today. I was searching on
Craigslist and I found a Mac Pro that had a "dead logic board"
according to a Genius. He was selling it along with a 20" ACD for
$425. Well, by the time I called he already sold the ACD separately.
So I told him i'd buy the Mac Pro. He said he'd hold it for me. Well,
I picked it up, in the box, for $140. He said the problem was that
it'd turn on, and it load up to a blue screen an a cursor. Well, me
knowing Macs, I know the 7300 GT's had a capacitor problem and would do
just that. You can confirm it by loading safe mode. If it displays
video past the blue screen, that's the problem. Well, it did. So I picked one up and I'm installing Lion as we speak. $390 for a Mac Pro, sounds good.
