O Canada...
How do you like them? At a friend's mom's birthday party, someone got her a pair similar to those. Wanted to try them out... but you can't really do that as soon as she opens them. :p

I'm actually really liking them! They fit really well (that is, after I changed the size of the earpieces) and the sound is pretty good. I just wish that I got one of the funner colors instead of just black lol.

Going out tomorrow evening for a birthday dinner and have had a boatload of restaraunt.com certificates sitting around. Finally putting some to use.

$50 off with a total of $100 or more. Getting myself something good :D

I've used those GCs several times... they're a freaking great deal!

That said, I'd recommend calling ahead first to confirm they are, indeed, accepted at said restaraunt.

I once went somewhere and they told me they stopped accepting those certificates many years ago. I didn't want to make a scene, so I just paid cash. I went home to do further investigating, and you'll see there are A LOT of complaints where restaurant.com sells certificates for stores that don't accept them. Fail.

I imagine you'll be fine though! Enjoy!

Bought a boat load of clothes on Amazon's sale and couple shoe pairs but this was technically the "last" purchase.

Thanks for the heads up. Going to be the first time using one so we will see. That said, it's my birthday so I am not paying either way :) I just may have to hold off on dessert if they don't.

Discovered I was down to my last 'bottle' and I can't go without.

Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue 256GB SSD for $199. Now I can finally go SSD without the optibay crap. I know it's not the best/fastest SSD out there, but I love Western Digital's warranty, and the price/size is excellent. I am coming from a 5400RPM HDD. Can't wait until it arrives.

Where did you order it from?

And why such a low price?

EDIT: That model retails for $1299 in Australia.

It was a newegg Shell Shocker deal yesterday. It was $199 for three hours starting at 1:00PM EST until 4:00PM EST, but it actually sold out in under 3 minutes. I knew it'd go quick, so I was ready and was one of the lucky few to snag one. newegg is incredible, I ordered it yesterday at 1PM and it already arrived.

@ mattcube64 - that is quite a collection! I think you and my roommate would be in close competition! He owns almost as much!

Happen to have any pics of his setup that he wouldn't mind sharing? I always *love* to see another gamer's collection so I can pick their brain and compare interests.

:eek::eek: That's a $500 SSD. That's an INCREDIBLE deal. I lurk Slickdeals all the time; I don't know how I missed that.

That said, I don't really have the money for it, anyway. Probably for the best...

Congratulations!! It's an awesome drive. Enjoy!

I got myself a top and 2 shirts and a trousers for my first ever day at work in the office. I'm more excited about the prospect of being paid rather than actually working haha.
