4 tickets to Miami International for January 2012. This plus taxes for a non-immigrant visa. I am set back until November thanks to this. :(

With the iMac coming in, my keyboard, mouse and speaker situations have been finished up...and the last bit now is harddrive considerations. Sold off a lot of things, and had some extra cash to pick up a my passport studio and a my book 2tb. Decided on the 2x1tb set up to take advantage of mirroring. Should come in time for my birthday ;).

Did you get the studio raid drive at Amazon? They were running a special for 129 just a few days ago.

I saw mattcube and I knew it was going to be more games!

:p I just can't help myself! Really happy with my haul this week, though. Spent a better portion of last night playing Ghost Recon on the 3DS and Mortal Kombat at my buddy's house.

I've wanted one of these portable HDDs since the moment they were released. The e-ink display is SOOOO COOOL.

Pair of Urbanears. Needed something in the interim while I research other earphones.

How do you like them? At a friend's mom's birthday party, someone got her a pair similar to those. Wanted to try them out... but you can't really do that as soon as she opens them. :p

Anyhoo; I wanted to pick up Resident Evil: Mercenaries, which came out Tuesday. But because of the whole "save debacle" mixed with Walmart's ineptitude and very rude demeanor (LONG story); I no longer have Asphalt 3D, and instead will be playing Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

haha jeepers, i always knew the NYC rapid transit system blew the MBTA (boston's system) out of the water but look at how much more mapping there is on the NYC shirt compared to the Boston shirt...

@mattcube - you have an amazing collection I am sure. Can you post your shelf sometime?

Thank you! I sure can! :)

Unfortunately, I'm still job hunting as you know; so everything has to be crammed onto a tiny little metal shelf. Can't wait until I can finally get some proper housing for everything.

These all my current gen console and handheld games, save for a few titles that friends are borrowing. I also have a small assortment of older Xbox, Gamecube, and Dreamcast titles that I keep out - they're my favorites so they get special treatment. :p All my strategy guides are on the bottom shelf And the "carpet level" is reserved for things that need to go into storage next time I rummage through the basement.

... and a money shot of my current-gen handhelds:

Next I have my "BIG BINDER" filled with all my retail-disc PC games and manuals. Some of them are repeats of what's on my shelf, and some of them are the actual discs from those shelf copies; but a good portion of them are totally separate games:

And then Steam games:

5737502009_92e84970ed_z.jpg

... and then I have some random assortment of games from different online digital distribution sites. Probably 15 games from GoG, and 30 or so from places like Origin, Direct2Drive, the Ubisoft store, etc.

And lastly, all my Xbox/GCN/PS2/Dreamcast/N64/PSOne/Gameboy/games/accessories/etc are nestled safely in some Rubbermaid boxes in the basement and garage.

***

I actually sold a very large quantity of games and systems about four years ago. School was costing more than I expected, and I didn't have any help. And so, as much I love games, there was no way I was gonna drop out of school. And thus, I sold off my early, budding 360/PS3/Wii collections, and all my super old retro stuff; along with my DS and PSP games. I've been able to re-accumulate some of them; but you'll notice I'm missing a lot of gems from each system's "mid life". 'Tis life. I can't complain. :)
