The last thing I bought was..... bacon. Apple smoked from Whole Foods.

I'd put up a picture, but it looks pretty much like bacon.

My GF wants to have a baked potato bar at her next family dinner day after tomorrow and I'm in charge of the bacon bits. I figured instead of buying the mysterious crunchy ones, I'd just make my own.

I just ordered this KitchenAid Gourmet Distinctions cookware set from Amazon. I've been eyeing this set for a while, and it was sold out for a number of months, but it's back and with an even better price.

Not a purchase but I took in my 21.5" iMac Late 2009 to the apple store for some dust under the screen. Apple Geniuses banged it up and they made a huge dent on the side of the computer apparently, so now the are giving me a brand new 2011 iMac!! They are doing a migration assistant and transferring my data tonight so I can pick it up tomorrow!! Great news for a rough day!

Going from 3.06 Intel Core 2 Duo to 2.7 Core i5. Sweet!

Just picked up the new iMac. They gave me lion, and a new wireless keyboard and magic mouse for free too! Finally - a great experience at the apple store. Never walked out with a big "purchase" before. Downloading the Lion install now. Flawless screen - no yellowing or dark spots that I can see. Basically I bought a brand new 2011 2.7 quad core i5, 1tb, 4gb ram iMac for $850. Win!
