glad to hear! i've heard some pretty good things about these speakers so i'm really excited. do you know if an external sound card is appropriate with these speakers? i know the higher end you go the more important the sound card is but i don't know where Klipsch computer speakers fall on that scale...

They sound fine coming directly from my MBP. I'm no audiophile though. Since I have the 4.1, I just hook the front and rear channels together using a splitter.

I've had these for about 8 years now, I think.
