I have a flat screen mounted on the wall. The problem is the cablebox. I really didnt want to put something under the tv. so i searched youtube for some ideas. I figured out what i can do. There is this thing called a remote extender. you put your cablebox where ever you want. i put mine in the closet. then you put the digital reciever on top of the cablebox and put the eye in front of the cablebox. then the transmitter is actually a battery that goes inside the remote.
so everything can hang in the closet with no extra equipment outside and you can still change the channel regardless. kinda neat and solves my problem. you can buy extra transmitter batterys for your dvd remote if you like. cheap even too. the saucer in the pic goes with the cablebox into the closet.

Saw this a few years ago in the "who has a pretty watch" thread and went for it today after 3 years of being watch-less.

I really miss the 160GB Intel X-25M SSD I had in my MBP. Pretty sure I sold it to one lucky forum member here a while back... So I ordered up one of these:

Miami is freakin' hot. I was in Melbourne for three months this summer for an internship. It was killer there too. I'm from Indianapolis and they got the heat wave, but there's at least weather variation in the Midwest. In Florida, it's ALWAYS too damn hot.

Just curious, but how did it break?
I'm asking honestly, not trying to pull your leg.

I broke one of the holes where the suction cup was plus it was a drape type of style, it was just poor quality

Tell me about it...
