I also got this whisky while I was in Japan a couple of days ago. Got it at the Duty Free shop.
And just FYI, it's the same type that Bill Murray was filming a commercial for in the film, Lost in Translation, although the age of the whisky may have been different.
EDIT: I just checked, and the Hibiki 17 year old is the same one featured in the movie.
Where did you get the Justice League sticker from, looks epic!
Just bought me some of these, it's about 3 degrees here at the mo and can't hack it when training barefoot:

Oh wow kellen
You went for it.. Sorry I didn't send a review over to you. So far it does what I need...hold journals and references for work. I rooted it and I'm still learning the ropes! The fire did everything I needed so well that I sold my iPad! Congrats though! Hope ou like it
I just recently started moving over to Japanese whiskeys for a change of space for my regular whiskey drinking. I have found Yamazaki is very good (actually had a neat glass last night).
I would like to hear how you like it. Always looking for new stuff.
Something I've always, always, always wanted. A great condition 30" cinema display for 625. Owner marked it originally for 1100 but i managed to talk him into a reduction for a quick deal. He threw in a new dual link dvi adaptor too. Stoked.
@SD: Your dad is really going to like his gift. I haven't tried it, but it must be excellent.
I like the Hibiki 17 more than the Yamazaki 12, which I've had several bottles of, and both are better than Hakushu. EDIT TO ADD: The Hibiki is very sweet, with a strong caramel nose and flavour. There's a hint of peat. It's not as smooth as the Yamazaki that I remember, if "smooth" is your thing. I'm surprised because it's 17 years old!! The Yamazaki is far less sweet, and not as interesting. There are times where I'd probably prefer the Yamazaki, but the Hibiki is definitely the better whisky.
This is one of the best whiskies I have ever tried, single malt or not.
The other Japanese brand you should try is Nikka. It'll be more expensive outside Japan than Suntory due to availability, but they're very good.
My brothers and I are going to play some Mario Kart and Dr. Mario (super nintendo version, on computer with the 50in TV) on xmas day. Decided to replace my rumble pads (wired) with 4 of these.

Super Nes and Super Nintendo look awful on a 50 inch tv. I have all the sega, super nes and Nes games on my wii and my computer. I always just play it on my computer because it looks so weird on such a big screen. As for Nintendo you get the throw back vibe but I have over 500 games for that system and only 4 are fun.
Eh, I like the old graphics. As long as it's not too far from the original look. I've played it on the 32 inch and it looked good enough.
Maybe I should do a trial run prior to xmas, might have to bring the 32 inch downstairs.
