Also grabbed a couple more $49 Blu Ray players while I was out of town. These make for wonderful Christmas gifts, I think. I happened to run into a Walmart that had like 100 of these just sitting on the shelf. Worst case scenario, I can return those I don't use.

Just Mobile Mtable. Love it. Was sick of wasting desk space with the mStand/Elevator style stands.

They are a "reward" that Nintendo is sending out to certain customers. I forget what you had to do, register a certain amount amount of games or something.

That's correct. All Nintendo-published (and a small selection of 3rd-party) games come with a unique code inside that you can register at ClubNintendo.com. Wii games get you 50 points, 3DS/DS games get you 30(?), and you can gain a few points here and there taking surveys. You can cash these points - or "coins" as they're called - on anything from messenger bags, to screensavers, to DS games, to carrying cases. And if you register enough coins in a one-year period (July-June), I believe 700, you get a "Platinum Reward" that doesn't cost you any of those said coins; it's just an extra freebie. The pins I received are this year's platinum reward. :)

With YOUR hard earned money....

I don't think this thread is considering fiscal responsibility, so, you know. ;)

My purchases:

Because I'm starting to really enjoy hockey, I'm really thinking about signing up for an adult beginner hockey class, because I want to try playing it, and my family never really had the money for me to join a team when I was growing up in the UK (plus there's not much around here in terms of recreational full contact football it seems).

Tickets to the Pens vs Islanders game (yeah, I'd rather go to a Rangers game, but these tickets were loads cheaper and Nassau Coliseum is a 15 minute drive away)
