Congratulations! There is nothing like owning your own house! That looks like it will be a very nice home.

Wowee - just a week or so after picking up eternlgladiator's macbook, I found nice deal for a unibody macbook pro with a busted harddrive for $400. Think this one might suit my brother more. Picked it up along with a incase-like frost hardshell.

Also picked up this cool looking decal for him. I hope he likes his gift. A little something to apologize for being away the majority of his life.

Congrats on your New Home

Thanks everyone! I'm super excited but now the wait is on until its finished.

LOL yeah those two houses in that picture do look like giants! Thankfully it wont look so small on the street where its going to be built. The yellow house here is the same style to give you a size reference.

where are you going to park?

The neighborhood has an alley system behind the houses for the garages. So yes there will be a two car garage behind the house. I'm originally from the Midwest and i'm used to an attached garage in the front of the house so this setup is a little different for me. I think It will work out just fine :)

Here you can see my neighbors garage and a few in the background as well.

So I was right! First time for everything :p

I'm used to the front system as well but a lot of the houses in Dallas use alleys.

I get it. I'm used to the front garage as well but I hate seeing houses that are dominated by an ugly garage so I'd prefer the set up you have there. I want to show off my house, not my garage. As long as I have it, I'd be happy. Looks like an awesome house. Congrats!

A few things for my better half, special mention to the sales girl in John Lewis who made me go all Clarke Griswold from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation over her
