A white PS2 slim off fleabay. All I need now is an old school NES system and I'll be set :D

********** gorgeous.

I've wanted one of those for a LONG time. The ceramic white just looks so good. I just can't justify it, unfortunately. Congrats on the pick-up.

Nothing exciting for me.

I went out to the Power & Light District in KC to hit a few bars with my cousin to celebrate her graduation. Ended up staying out way too late and drinking a bit more than I should; and so I left my car at her friend's house. My mom was meeting my aunt the next day, anyway, so we ended up all spending the day together.

And with that, I hit Big Lots for the first time in like seven years. And wouldn't you know it... a one dollar expansion pack. lulz

Also grabbed a Timbuk2 case for my incoming Kindle Fire - was on sale for $19.99 down from $35. And also grabbed some screen protectors for my new 3DS... they suck. They're awful. I wasted the top one, and will make do with just a bottom one.

My major hauls this week~

11" MacBook Air. I wanted one last year, but it's a good performer now, not to mention I can buy a mid-range model to get 4GB of RAM in-store instead of ordering online (I hate ordering online which the only reason I sometimes end up getting a maxed up store-model as sometimes that the only reason to get a certain feature I wanted—for example the 15" MacBook Pro bought in-store only the 2.3GHz model was available with antiglare). So this is my Christmas present for myself. In case you're wondering the computer is in a sealed FoodSaver bag with bags of desiccant because I might have gotten some liquid on the computer.

Another haul this week is an unlocked 64GB iPhone 4S for a good friend.

An Early Christmas Present... To Myself :p

I love Skyrim.

Lets see how long my Android thing lasts this time..

Right now I'm debating if I should pick up that, a Motorola Droid RAZR, or a Nokia Lumia 800… I have a Samsung Focus and I love Windows Phone 7, so the decision is difficult (that's if I should even get a phone). The last and only Android phone I've owned is the HTC Desire which was okay, but I didn't like the keyboard very much.

make sure you find some reviews on the droid razor battery life. the reviews i read said that the razor wouldnt last the whole day without charge.

I'm not sure if the reviews would apply to the GSM version of the Droid RAZR.

Seriously though, I'm more likely to buy the Nokia; although I've been waiting for it, I'm a bit disappointed with the specs. I was expecting the N8 features (12MP camera with xenon flash, pentaband HSDPA, and whatnot) with latest specs like dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 64GB storage, etc. I wouldn't mind paying a lot of it then.

For the boy :) He picked the Jets as his team purely based on their logo (hey he's 6 and loves planes of all descriptions) :)

We all started following the NHL this year, I chose the Pens due to the way the team played together earlier in the season (before Crosby came back) and I like Penguins :) My wife picked the Devils due to well, Zach Parise (I'm sure there was another reason) ;)

Can I ask how much that set you back? I've priced RAM for my MBP but it's like $200 to double it up. I just don't remember memory being that pricey on my old one.

Thanks! :)

I paid $35 on Amazon for it. RAM is really cheap now a days. 16 GB would probably run you $200, but 8 GB can easily be found under $40-45 bucks.

You notice a performance boost? I have the same CPU in my MBP and am getting 2x4GB chips for Christmas.

I have about 5GB free RAM right now, compared to the 500-1GB that I had before with my daily programs open. It's definitely smoother with all these programs open. It's not going to increase your boot time or anything, but it does make multitasking much more fluid. No more choppiness, missed animations, lags, or waiting for things to load. Nor do I hear my HDD constantly spinning. I'm very happy I'd say.
