New kicks. Anyone have these or familiar with them? How's the waterproofing? I'm not hiking in them just standing in the rain for work.

Tell me about it! We are in Takapuna atm, awesome area but no chance of buying. Ended up in Albany (near Browns Bay) but that was more a case of pot luck as the rentals we were turning up to view had like 70 people there. Still love this area though.

Always a bummer. Just come on over on a working holiday visa (if your under 30) and give it a shot. Thats what I did and ended up never leaving. Still waiting for my Oz visa to be approved after 4 years but cant be bothered with it now as happy in NZ. Oh well back on topic..

Finnaly i've decided to upgrade the RAM of my MBP:
from 4 to 8GB. The difference is just abysmal.
Also:
I was getting tired to use normal house phones as i've been using a lot the phone lately. found this on Compusa for 29.99. Not bad.
Also for my gf:
Kore Wa zombie desu ka volumen 1
Toradora Volumen 3 :x
(yeah she loves the manga and anime).
And for me xD...

Got an itch to play some Mario Kart and Mario Party with my friends. The Cube has long been my favorite multiplayer system (mini-games!). Unfortunately I stupidly broke one of my personal video game rules and sold my Gamecube a few years ago.
Picked one up off of craigslist with 2 controllers, 2 memory cards, and 13 games for $40.
Now if I can just get my hands on Mario Party 4.

Merrell shoes are so comfortable, my last 4 pairs of shoes have been Merrell, and I also have other clothes from them. Great choice.
Couldn't imagine my iPad without the stylus, I just use it so many times for drawing and lately for taking notes in class, some things are simply easier to write by hand than to type.
I am now that I am back in my birth state, out in the country. Where's it's quiet and I'm not in the flight pattern of Tomcats, Hornets, F-111's, B-1s, Prowlers... It's nice.
I just simply couldn't find my other Wacom Bamboo stylus. I had to order another one. And yes an iPad without a stylus is like a car with no gas.

My gym has a promotion going on to upgrade your membership for only $10 more/month. Usually it's around $35 more/month, so I went ahead and upgraded. This will give me access to their "Super Sport" gyms, including the one in West Hollywood, which is the closet one to my office. So much more convenient.
nice purchase, I've had one on my Z for a while, makes a pretty significant difference, especially in the upper RPM range.
