Came home today to find a present waiting for me. I'm gadget mad

Just need a memory card and some games now, ordered official case before too.

What's everyones opinions on these?

I love mine... I have been using it more and more. :D

It was either this or a MacBook Air 11". Not too convinced with the base MBA 11" just yet so I went with the good ol' 3rd generation iPad.

Well since you asked...

I think that whole dedicated portable console thing is on its last legs. Believe me, I've had GameBoys, GameGears, Nintendo DS and all, yet with the iPhone, iPad and Android I really don't see these consoles being around for long.

I don't know about that... I rarely use my ipad or phone for games ( I do have games on them though) I mostly use it for browsing and movies. To me most of the games that are released for iOS or Android are just not quite there yet, they are good time wasters but that's about it. You can't replace buttons and triggers in my opinion.

sorry to be nosey but thats it? that is a gorgeous house and a house like that would be like $400-500k at least where I live, nice house and definitely love the H3 you have sitting there

Supply and demand, I am guessing where you live in in or very close to a large city. The extra 300K you are paying is for the location.

Yeah homes are really expensive around there. Dutchess and Orange County has a lot of expensive homes, I think everyone wants to be near Manhattan...or maybe Woodbury Commons.

Put down my bond and 1st week rent on a new place.

Been stuck in a cramped 40m2 2 bed apartment for 2 years but with a newborn thats just arrived its too small. Found a 3 bed house with garage for the same price we are paying now so gone for that.

Would love to buy as hate renting, but with the stupid housing market in Auckland at the moment, plus the fact you need to put down 20% deposit on a house to buy which would be all my savings, that aint gonna happen for a long time. Oh well.

Yeah, the cost of living in North Carolina is cheap. I had to leave Florida. I was going broke just trying to meet the utilities and insurance down there. Trust me, stay the fsck out of Florida. The people are rude and it's an old and run down state and way too expensive to live in.

Oh trust me I will never go down there, my uncle lives down there but he only lucked out because his job transferred him down there but he was making new York money so he isn't doing too bad but other than that I've only heard horror stories, anyway congrats on the purchase, the house looks great
