Would you be so kind to explain why you think the Kindle (not touch, not Fire, but the one depicted) and the iPad 3 are comparable?

I personally think the iPad makes a great reader and have never had an issue reading on mine for any amount of time. Obviously you prefer not to. I'm not trying to change any minds here.

I think you haven't used the Kindle. As I said before; "Reading on the iPad is like browsing web pages on the Kindle. You just don't do it unless you really, really have to or have no idea what's out there."

Wacom Intuos5 Small—fits perfectly in my laptop bag. This replaces my Intuos4 Medium.

The best way to solve cable modem issues is to call tech support and have them increase the power on their end. Using the booster creates problems like too much outbound power and noise. You pay your ISP every month, it's their job to make sure your connection works.

Can you give a review of the Lumina 900 for us? I am in the market for a new phone so I am interested in all of the options

I've used it and don't care that much. I like reading on my iPad and don't mind the screen at all. I've read for hours and had no problems at all.

Again that's your opinion. His is that it isn't as bad as you claim it is. Agree to disagree. I don't mind reading on the iPad either. I sit in front of a computer reading stuff all day to reading on an iPad is no different than that.

My wife has a kindle and while it's certainly nice for reading, I have no problems reading on my iPad and in fact I actually enjoy it. I feel no need to buy a Kindle.

I finally got my new bike! For a better picture of it, check out the "Post Pictures of Your Bike" thread tomorrow. I've already raised the seat, dropped the stem by a couple spacers, and flipped it. Yes, I flipped it (eternlgladiator will get it!). I'll get rid of the dork disc next weekend.

i Will buy 2 Gb of RAM and a new hard drive as soon as i get it xD! :apple:

USPS sucks. I've ordered 10+ packages from Amazon the last week and a half and USPS is by far the worst to receive packages from. (Outside of DHL, but that's a whole other story about them) The tracking never updates. It's always a day behind. To top that off, i had 2-3 packages arrive in Charleston, which is an hour away from me, at about 3:30 PM and somehow it still didn't arrive the next day. WTF. It just sat there an extra day. UPS i get a package from Phoenix (other side of the country) in two days and i only paid for 3-5 day shipping.

I've always had the opposite experience but with Fedex being the worst. USPS has always been on time and I've been able to guess when I would get a package or whenever a package would get to the destination. With UPS, their tracking barely updates and sometimes I wouldn't even get the package on the date that it's expected. Usually a day late.

Dont worry, it couldn't be worst than in my country. Here there's a site just like Ebay, called Mercadolibre, where its more like the wild west. While doing the transaction, you could be scammed by your seller, be scammed by the site, be scammed by the mail companies (i've read about really horror stories... )... so, its ok, i ve just verified the tracking # again and it says its already on Mcallen, so today (friday 13 xD) i will receive it :p.

Please do remember this started with him saying he didn't agree with the iPad and the Kindle being completely different animals, not that he didn't mind reading on the iPad.

Weird. I love FedEx here. UPS i don't like so much, unless compared to USPS and DHL. I hate DHL with a passion. Here's why: Back when i actually had my car fixed up (Clean, JDM style, not ricer crap) i ordered a carbon fiber hood and it was to be delivered by DHL. (UPS had already beaten the last one up, so i used DHL) I waited, and waited, and waited. Nothing. I finally call DHL and ask them a week after it was supposed to deliver and they tell me they hadn't brought it yet because they didn't have a truck big enough to deliver it. A deliver company.. without a big enough truck to deliver. WTF?!
