Much happier. There are definitely still some things about Android that don't "translate" well over to the tablet experience, e.g., the different app sizes are more bothersome on a larger screen. I also just don't need so many screens -- the device is for leisure so I simply don't have as urgent of a need to glance at information.

Luckily, Nova launcher solves many of these little "quirks."

But in terms of form and function, I'm getting used to the smaller device, and I'm happier typing (or swiping!) emails/messages (I love Hangouts on the N7), happier browsing, happier playing games, etc., than I ever was on the iPad 3 (which I sold).

I think I joined the Android tablet world at a good time. Any earlier, I don't think I would've enjoyed it.

This may be a silly question, but do you have to re-buy nova prime on the tablet? I know if it was an ipad you would, but I have never owned an android tablet.

Not sure as I haven't bought Nova Prime, but I'm sure it works on the tablet, too. I don't believe there's a Nova Prime Tablet version, is there? If there isn't, it should transfer over.

I've always found raw android to be hideous. Bland, dark, cheesy 80's Sci-fi theme.

Touchwiz has always appealed to me more as far back Sprint Epic 4G
I agree, never understood the draw of raw Android, Touchwhiz spruces it up with some cool tricks and features and looks. Why I've always stuck with Touchwhiz based roms like Shostock even after trying others. Still use GoLauncherEX with custom icons from DCikonZ.

Used to fee the same as well, once I switched from iPhone to Android a couple years ago never looked back, however I felt that on the tablets iOS was still the winner for awhile. But now, Android feels a lot more "sorted" I guess you could say on the Tablets and runs great.

Decided to change to a simpler homescreen.

Simplex for CM10.1, with the icons to match. Shoutout to the team who are working on making icons for ALL my apps since there is no theme that does theme them all. :D

The weather widget is for Hue. A nice new little weather app.

And then that's just an Expense Manager widget under it. It's just there to take up the excess space, hahaha.

Weather app looks great but wouldn't work for me. Kept crashing everytime I tried to use it as a widget :(

Nove Prime works on my Nexus 7.2

I am not sure about repurchasing but most stuff on iProducts do not need to be purchased twice like the person you quoted stated. The only thing I would have had to purchase 2 times was Angry Birds cause it was "HD" for the iPad so I decided not to.

Sorry, totally OT - my HTC HD2 with the 'new' W7.8 home screen:
