Why is it that the fonts look noticeably better on jkkool's screenshots? Is one maybe taken on retina and the other isn't? The ones jkkool posted have such a nice, dark, defined look while the ones that BDM STUDIOS NL posted look rather thin and jagged.
jkkool uses the correct file format for screenshots (PNG, although with non-optimized deflate compression).

jktool screens are retina resolution, plus no compression quality loss.

BDM screens are non-retina and with poor compression algorithm. ;)

But overall there is definitely something wrong with the fonts as even after turning RES to scaled HiDPI (retina) I can see rough edges on some fonts, although it's obviously much better.

After futher notice, you can still see that the fonts have rough edges, even on retina. And it's not the result of image compression (saw the similiar result after switching to HiDPi scalling (retina). The font problem is definitely on all machines, it's just almost masked with retina screens.

Resolved transparency issue

Tweaking in System Preferences and found the answer for my issue!

Accessibility > Display > UNCHECK "Reduce Transparency"

I have a bunch of screenshots on my MBA, but not on this machine, so I'll just post the one for now...

I've seen several pictures of Safari but don't see any with a Favorites Bar. Please don't tell me that it has been taken away. Can someone post a picture of it. Thanks.

The System Preferences has an Extensions option. What does that menu look like?

Not a lot to look at now - will probably change once developers start making extensions, though:

(EDIT: clicking on the "Get extnsions" button takes you to the App Store, but gives an error. So it looks like you'll be able to install extensions via the App Store once released.

So they up the colours in everything in 10.10 but fail to bring back the coloured icons in the Finder sidebar. Boo!
