Post Screenshots of Your iTunes Stats!!!

I just heard about this from OllyW on this thread. Go download iTunes Statistician and take a screenshot. I thought it's be cool to see other's top listened to songs, albums, etc.

Here's mine, I obviously like pop music.

You should really organize your iTunes so that Panic! At The Disco is with an exclamation mark.

Oh, trust me, I spent a good deal of time trying to decide what to do. I disliked that they were separated but I mean, they did officially drop it, and P!ATD and PATD are two completely different bands... I was torn. And then friggin iTunes kept the ! when I got the album info.


Now that I think about it, I *could* just change the album artist (either add the ! to all or take it away) and then it would be the same artist but ! would still differentiate.

Only about a quarter of my music is listened to through my computer. Most of the time it's through my iPhone.

Does anyone know if this counts half plays? Like, if I play a song, and then change it before it's over?

I think play count and rates only sync from computer to iPod/iPhone, not the other way around.

No I know that, what I was asking is when I am playing songs on my computer, if the app counts partial plays or not. Or does the app only recognize a full play.

When you sync your iPhone with your computer it adds your play counts into your iTunes library I believe.

iTunes will only count tracks as played when they are played through to the end.

Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for.

Dang, so my stats aren't accurate at all hahahaha, since I end up switching songs before they end. Only really good CDs I'll listen through, which is actually shown on my stats.

This app reads from the .xml file that iTunes uses to share music on your local network. It does not differentiate between movies and music or radio feeds...

EDIT: I thought I may as well add this. I've uploaded my command line java program from my first year of uni. Unzip, 'cd myitunesstats', 'javac *.java' then 'java main'. Go ahead if you know what to do. This program doesn't do anywhere near as much as iTunes Stats above, but it differentiates between video and music (actually i think video and non-video). Below is the complete output you should be expecting.
