No kidding! Whenever one track from it comes up on shuffle I have to start from the beginning of the album and go all the way through it.

Oh and don't update the app. It will not work again. Just turn the checking for update off in the Preferences.
And also, songs played from the iPod/iPhone does sync to iTunes. But only if you played it to the end.

Actually, iTunes only counts a song played if you listen to the song and there is less than or equal to 10 seconds on the song left. After that, you can skip anytime you want and iTunes will count it as played.

I had the same problem first time... so the second time I did it I made sure it was blocked with Little Snitch and it still told me there was an update available! Very odd.
