Huh. Weird. I was talking to someone in a car thread on here who's having a similar issue. I've never had an issue with a custom order Mercedes. Though, incidents such as yours and the other guy's makes me wonder if that's why the bulk of purchases are done off the lot these days."Recently ordered" LOL
Ordered back in February, delivery estimate 2nd week of June.
Factory delays meant the car didn't reach the dealership until the end of July.
Wanted it registered with a cherished plate (which I was assured wouldn't be a big deal).
Found out on Monday just gone that the dealership still hasn't completed the registration forms.
Fml.

A new TV
Philips 55POS9002 OLED. I am super excited to get it
(But Philips - What a terrible name! POS...)
The answer is very simply price. There was a really good deal on the Philips TV this weekend so I decided to go for it. If they had both been the same price I would have chosen the LG B7.i am thinking of buying LG OLED55B7P! why didnt you go for LG? i have heard LG Oleds are the best tv out there!

Picture quality wise they are extremely similar, as they use the same panel. The main difference is that the image processing should be a tiny bit better on the Philips (although I'll probably turn that off) and the LG supports Dolby Vision, which I'm a little sad about not getting. However, I figured I could bank the difference in price and upgrade again a little earlier than I would with the LG and then get something much better again in the future.
There are also other differences between the two TV's such as the industrial design, which way the ports are oriented, OS and so forth where they each have their advantages, but all of that more or less comes down to personal preferences.
My guess is that it has something to do with how Philips works now. AFAIK they have sold a large chunk of their business, and TP Vision bought the rights to use the Philips brand in Europe, which could explain why it is available here and not in the US.Wonder if/when the US will get that model. Seems to currently be UK only!
Thanksokay that makes sense! congrats on the purchase.
Did you spec it out online?
