Two more speakers and another subwoofer for my main entertaining area. Will make for 10 mid, 10 high, and 3 subs total.

Because there is no such thing as too much when it comes to music and volume / decibels.

Right now I only have sound on 3 sides. Getting the 4th wall taken care of now.

Then it’s party time. Still trying to find a good light show on the cheap. All the stuff I’ve seen on Amazon has poor reviews.

I used to do shows with laser lights, strobe lights, fog machines, and of course sirens and starbursts, rope lights, and the old mirror ball. But that might be a bit much to try to fit into a 30 x 40 multipurpose room. Especially considering it’s the main entry point of the house.

Trying to stay subtle, and functional. Blend it into the environment. But still get the effect for when it’s wanted.

A blend between classy and party. One end of the room has the dining area and a sitting area. The other end is all open for dancing, musical instruments, and so on.

Ooh... used to buy lumpfish roe in the supermarket yonks ago... on toast - lovely!
Another level i guess... yum!
enjoy!

Heh... methinks you have expensive tastes!

Yes, I have, though I explain it away by simply saying that I like the good things in life.

And, er, yes, I do.

Another purchase (paid for, but not yet delivered, although I have been reliably informed that it will be dispatched shortly) is a briefcase from Adeney, Swaine and Brigg which has been made for me.

The Paternoster, in black.

Sometimes, you need a smaller tripod when flying to location.

I hope that's carbon fibre! I have a heavy aluminium Manfrotto for Home and a lightweight Gitzo traveller series for travel.

No, it's the aluminum model. I have a new client in Dallas and need to put it in a checked bag or ship it and I cannot justify the added expense. My regular tripod 3233 is too large, the 055 pays for itself within three trips and rentals are expensive. I'll probably put the 055 in a Lightware case along with a lighting kit and UPS a few days ahead.

No pic yet, since everyone knows what it looks like, but kiddo is getting a new 21.5" iMac, since her Mini has decided it's time to hang it up. Only cost me an extra $8 to get it here in two days instead of three, so that's a no brainer.

I have ordered myself a mophie powerstation USB-C XXL, needed a powerbank and thought I could as well get a larger one so I can charge my MBP if needed, or several recharges on my phone. Should get it delivered by thursday.
