I need to replace the tamper, and I now see they offer a holder. That beats always putting it in the drawer.

75" Samsung QLED Q9FN

Purchased it on a whim yesterday because the price was too good to pass up. I have a bright room with a large wall and that's the only reason i purchased QLED. Bought it from Abt Electronics and get it delivered in 2 weeks.

1. Yamaha R-N803 receiver. Needed something a bit more powerful in the living room to drive my Fluance tower speakers. Airplay built in too

2. Fluance DB12W subwoofer to match the speakers and improve on the sound!

Both expected tomorrow...

Really excited for this one. KEF LSX Wireless speakers. Wifi, Bluetooth, various wired connections and Airplay 2 (coming early next year). Always wanted the LS50 Wireless, but they were just too big and expensive for my desk; these are half the size and half the prize (still expensive though). Can't wait to try them out.

In a coffee shop.
That’s a bit early in the day! Should see you through the next week.

I paid for it on Thursday, even though the delivery hadn't even arrived in the shop; it was supposed to have been delivered to the shop on Friday, and to me either Friday or Saturday, although I had assumed the latter.

Anyway, I phoned yesterday, just to get an ETA; Monday, is when the delivery will now take place, I am now reliably informed.

Well let’s hope it turns up. Frustrating waiting for packages that don’t materialise.

I ordered a Mac Mini 2018. I debated between the iMac 2017 and the Mac Mini and I just decided I liked the extra flexibility of the Mac Mini. When it gets retired from my desktop, it will be easier to find a place where I can put in my entertainment center, bedroom setup, etc. I have a 2010 Mini that this is replacing in my office, but I am going to keep the 2011 iMac around until at least Apple comes out with their pro monitors next year. I am hoping this will be able to use the iMac monitor with target display (my 2016 MBP will - I route it through a thunderbolt 1 dock), but I also have a 4k monitor up on an Ergotron Mount I can use as a primary or secondary display.

Pretty excited to see how it performs.
