Thanks, do I just delete LockBackground.html before I transfer it, then transfer it to the theme folder in openssh and enable it in winterboard, so that it doesn't affect my springboard, only my lockscreen? Do I also need to use the app in cydia that hides the lockscreen clock? I never applied a new lockscreen theme before, but I read that the .html file is for your clock to show up on your springboard and you needed the cydia app before applying a new clock.

I just SSH'd the .theme folder into the /themes folder and enabled it in Winterboard. You need to download Lockcreen Info (repo: david.ashman.com/beta) and Lockscreen Clock Hide.
Then in Settings > LockInfo put 'Enabled' to off. In Settings > Clock Hide put 'Enabled' to on.
That's all I did to get it working.
If you look at my post just above this on the same page...i have a link there with COMPLETE instructions and step by step how to install and set up.
All I did was search "illumine" in Cydia... If it doesn't find it perhaps add some of the sources that are on the Cydia home page?
Is anyone having problems with "iTicker Widget" on 3.1.2? I installed it on my 3G and have enabled it through WinterBoard, but the only thing that shows up is a blue box with a question mark in it. 
Change it to a PC and your good to go (PC's rule!!)
I stopped using visual theme's butvi still use custom un/lock SMS mail sounds on my 3G it got so laggy, and some themes weren't complete with the apps that I had.
But with a 3GS I would think that lag wouldn't be much of a problem anymore, just not sure if I want to bother with themes.

I downloaded the free trial from ROCK. (What's with all the not free apps??) Anyway I think I have it all set up yet when I got to my lockscreen...nothing.

why should i worry about being flamed? i stated my opinion if people dont like it that is there problem not mine
anyways i have downloaded a few themes from RYP but i have yet to use them i just keep forgetting to activate them. when i do ill post a response about them.
