The NFL might not, but I would think that the Titans will. He is a possible HOF QB, and did a lot for that franchise and the community.

Agreed, not being disparaging but there is little chance of him being destined for the Hall of Fame. The NFL never retires numbers, it is down to the team and I just don't think the Titan's will retire McNair's #9.

He was just a very good quarterback and that's all that will really matter to me irrespective of what ultimately transpires in the investigation into his death.
