Maybe night time updates as well? :)

I think we have found the ultimate Mac lover, and it is iBlue.

(Picture removed due to public outrage.

That was my first foray into that resource. It won't happen again.)

(Although I do prefer pic #10. :))

What I'm wearing now. I had a lot more than that on just before (it's winter here now, and it's raining), but I just wanted to show my new little Manhattan Portage "man-bag".

And no, I'm not going to put my shirts back on just for the photo. :p The shirt I was buttoned, had a collar, and very light blue stripes. ;)

Lovely though the picture is, I think it's up to iBlue to post it, don't you?

Kind of thought the same thing but since I posted it on the internet I didn't feel I had much of a right to complain. Glad to see I wasn't the only one a bit taken aback by it. I did however report the post because it kind of alarmed and embarrassed me to see it full size and asked a mod to TIMG it.
think I'll be a bit more discriminating with what images I post on the net from now on.

(for the record, it's not a big deal, I'm not upset or anything but I was a bit surprised by that) <shrug>

with American Eagle khakis pants, and what jumped out at me while I tried to get pop-tarts out of the box. :p It says, "Free Test Drive" ;)

I didn't see which picture you posted iJohnHenry, but I am guessing it's the one of iBlue covered by just a MBP. Very tasteful, very elegant shot. Saw it when it was posted. But I agree that anyone who is revisiting that photo or any other daily or esp. nightly, well that is certainly creepy. And we didn't need it to come back here for more people who may not have seen it before to make it more creepy.

iBlue is an ultimate Mac lover, and respect her for it. She shares a lot with us, like many of us do, don't make her regret that.

/endrant.

yes, iJH I know you removed it. I was just saying my peace.

OK, I fixed it.

Perhaps children would have trouble finding it, but I didn't.
As I said in post 335, I wasn't upset nor am I now, just a bit surprised. You didn't have to take it down, but in the future it is typically considered more polite to ask before posting someone else's photo, especially when they're wearing only a laptop. I would hardly call this a public outrage either.

Still, no harm done.

I honestly appear to be on another continent on this one.

I see a very cute woman, embracing her love of her MacBook, so much so that she wants to take it to bed with her.

But that's just me.

PS: And feel free to use my smilies anytime you wish. This offer is open to iBlue, ONLY.

That was the idea behind the photo, yes. It was just odd to see it posted (at full resolution too) in a random thread. As I said, not that big a deal, I posted it on the net and all, I was just a bit taken aback by it, as were others, apparently.

p.s. hey, it was only fair! :p

soooooo, how about some more photos of peoples shirts, eh?

Just use some common courtesy from now on, please. Yes, this is the internet, and this forum isn't on another parallel internet universe where there are strict rules. However, regardless of how other idiots act, or speak/type on the internet, people feel comfortable posting here because they see that others have common respect for privacy, and less tolerance for inconsiderate behaviour. Otherwise, we'd end up with idiotic l33t speak and yelling matches.

Yes, that photo was already out in the open and for anybody to see in the Members Photos thread. However, it's one thing for one person to stumble across a photo of iBlue (or any other member's photo), and it's another thing entirely to do the internet equivalent of holding it in your hand and running around to show others. Just let people stumble across it. It's there for people to see, but who wants their photo spread around? Again, I understand that this is the internet, but still try to be courteous and think about others. Nobody wants MacRumours to be comparable to the lowest common denominator.

Yeah, I love them too. I didn't know I had a bag fetish until I had the urge to buy this one. I didn't "need" it. I have a mid-sized messenger-style bag made from some thick cotton canvas. It's from a Japanese-Taiwanese company called "Porter". Awesome bag company. It's still considered small-size by most people, but still too large for a male to keep the fairly basic stuff without it getting lost in the abyss within it: sunglass case, small notebook (my moleskine), pen, iPod, and keys. My wallet and mobile stay in my trouser pockets. If the bag swallows this stuff, and I can't find it quickly, then it's not that useful. I found that I didn't use the bag often.

That's why I got this new, teeny-tiny little bag. If I need to fit a water bottle, umbrella, or a hooded jumper, then my other bag comes out. I have even used it to carry a bottle of wine to friends' homes, as it's just long enough. ;)
