Flipped.jpg

It's an original Hawaiian "dirt shirt", with the Wise Man sayings on the back. Love it, but it was expensive, considering where I went to get it. :p

Managed to flip it too. Amazing.

(Abstract, hope you feel better soon. Was my mea culpa insufficient for you??)

Yeah, t'was OK.

This shirt was given to be randomly by my friends. It's only (kind of funny) because:

1. I actually own a pink shirt that says "Cowboy" on it, which I don't dare to wear anymore after Brokeback Mountain made that shirt too gay. Anyway, they'd refer to me as "Cowboy" sometimes for fun.
2. My girlfriend is Japanese, which makes me almost Japanese.
3. I'm Chinese, so of course Ian would love karaoke, right?

yeah i would order some fred perry's but with shipping to the states and stuff it comes out to be a little over $100 a shirt. no thanks.
ill pay $70 to $80 for a fred perry but more that $100 is a little overboard.

See, that's why I don't buy into fads like Fred Perry. Fred Perry is the Luke Perry of the clothing world.

im not aware that it is a 'fad'. ive just liked the way the shirts look for quite a long time, they are just hard to come by. no fad here.

Well it's not a fad now. In hindsight, it clearly was a fad, since they pretty much disappeared again. It's like when everyone had to own a stupid lacoste polo with a stupid crocodile on it. It was huge a long time ago, and then randomly, it was huge again in like 2000 or 2001 or something. So weird. Well, the company pretty much came back from the dead, or at least became recognizable again by younger people.

I'll agree with that, to an extent. Fred perrys were never prevalent in the states at least not in the south. They were/are only popular in the skinhead and punk communities. You can find them in stores like nordstroms every now and then but that's been probably about 2 years since ive seen one. Most people I know that have them, even older ones, had to import them in from england because no stores would carry them.

They are made in china now so maybe theyll go down importing prices a bit. And. Not down in quality.

Team shirt for my old Ultimate Frisbee team.
