What flavor? Looks like a fruity sweet green mountain one.

Wicked Winter Blend and Breakfast Blend are both in there. Breakfast blend is at the bottom. I love the winter blend because it's very bold and dark. I like my coffee as black and bold as you can get it. :D

Pretty lucky.

MacBook Pro early 2008 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo Nvidia 8400M 256MB:

I bought this one in trade for 3 magic mouses I had lying around. So basically free. I bought it broken (kernel panics at boot up). All it needed was a external drive with Lion to boot onto and than I skipped all the errors. A simple clean Lion install did the trick on the original corrupted 160GB HD. Sold it as well yesterday.

I made quite a few hundreds:cool:. I sold them because it would have 6 MacBook (Pro's) otherwise. ;)

I actually do this quite often. There are so many Mac's out there which are presumably broken, but not really. Easiest way to make some money IMO. I do this a lot. But these were 2 successful days.

Correction: I buy broken Macs and sell them in proper working condition. 99% of the time there isn't anything really wrong with it. Unless it involves liquid spill bla bla

MacBook white 2008 2.1Ghz Core 2 Duo :

I got this one at work (APR in Holland). Woman bought a new 13" MBP and I transferred all her data (time machine back up)cwhile she could leave for 2 hours. She came and told me she wanted to leave the MacBook for it to be recycled (the HD died). I installed a new HD I had and got a new top case for it (still within the 5 year extended warranty) and sold it yesterday for a few hundred.

Isn't it of dubious morality to keep a laptop that a customer wanted to have recycled? The customer didn't say, keep it to do as you see fit, she specifically asked for it to be recyled... I know that you did a good thing keeping it out of the landfills, but the fact that you even made money off of it, makes me question the morality. Im not picking on you, just looking to see what you and others might think.

Our recycle bin of Mac hardware consists of only defective or older (PowerPC) Apple hardware. At the time the MacBook was received (by me, as I assisted her), it was not known what was wrong with the machine. I could as well be dead.

At the end of the day, when I gave it a look, I noticed the battery was only drained and it chimed, although the HD died. It then is to us do decide what to do with it. Why would I just dump a working '08 MacBook? :apple:.

So, as far as morality goes, I think that doesn't play a big bart in this situation, because if I would have known the MacBook was in a working condition, I would have told her so. She, then, would have probably took it back with her.

Though, there are customers who just don't care. They, on purpose, bring in working MacBooks (mostly white ones) because they don't want to deal with it anymore. This happens when a customer buys a new one or they are at the store to see how much a certain repair might cost.

I don't see anything "dubious" in what he is doing. He is fixing broken laptops and reselling them. If anything, the dude is pretty smart and quite the businessman :).

(not my picture, obviously)

Signed up for a 3 year (...eeek, I know) family plan on Rogers and this is their sign-up freebie. It's like 2 months of free service :p

I've always been sort of a Sony/Nintendo fan so I'm glad to finally have an Xbox of my own. My buddies tell me it's better than my beloved PS3... let's see how this goes :)

How is the grip in the wet? My OEM ExtremeContacts are going to need replacing soon and I'm fluctuating between another set of ExtremeContacts or going with the forum-recommended Pilot Super Sports.

As a poor college student, it seriously just dawned on me that people actually buy other tires than the $89 special at Discount Tire. I'm pretty lucky I live somewhere that gets little snow or rain.
