I got my first film SLR. It's a Vivitar V2000, and has a 50mm f/1.9 lens and a 70-210mm f/4.5-5.6 lens, along with 1 roll of 100 film, 1 roll of 125 film, and 4 rolls of 400 film. All from my grandpa as a gift since I'm getting into photography.

The person who got rid of it was streamlining their gear to mobile only and just didn't want it anymore.

I was gifted a mid 2010 Mac Mini. 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo with 8GB ram. I set it up with Mavericks and I put Mac Server on it. I bought it when the new version came out and I never really ran it. I figured this would be the best way to run it. It's on my bookshelf running headless and it's about 90% configured.

Any other good ideas for stuff to run on it?

Some guy was giving away his old stuff at a bar, I threw my hand in the air and got myself a free 13" MBP in full working condition. I have an Air though so I gave it away to some random guy on Facebook as he probably needed it more. I am such a nice guy.

I'll be graduating from college in a few days and our department organised an award ceremony which included awards such as Best Academic Success and Best Intern. Turns out I'm the salutatorian and I'm also awarded the Best Intern award. Kindle is for being the salutatorian and Apple TV is from the company I work at for being the Best Intern.

It certainly was a nice day
