Thanks man. After looking at yours, I think I'm going to change my icons inside my categories (Hard drive, Social, Games).

theres an option for you to choose which theme you want to apply to those icons insde your category folder. I'm still trying to figure out how to change the background though.

yeah just replace the background.png file inside the category you create and choose "use background image". That's all there is too it ;)

If you want to get creative, also replace the "Default.png" with what you want so you don't have to look at the ugly folder saying "loading". I replaced mine with the beachball

Pic from previous theme I was running

didnt work again, managed to restore my phone from itunes will give this a miss for a while:confused::confused:

I noticed you used quickpwn. Were you unable to jailbreak then? What step did you not pass?

I first jailbroke pwnage tool an then again with quickpwn. I like pwnage tool a lot better. Might want to give that a try?

I just love this dock and was trying to make a pink theme. Is there anyone who could make the center orb pink that matches the attached icon? I only have Digital Image Pro and I don't think that it can be done in that program. I would really appreciate it! There are just not enough themes for the ladies who like pink out there! ;-)

I'm not the original creator of either of these images. Thanks to the original creators...they are great!

I have my girlfriend's iPhone using this theme:

This dock isn't exactly what you requested, but maybe you can use it.

The badge being covered by the icon on the dock doesn't look quite right.

Yeah, dont know how to fix that. I suppose I could make the glass portion smaller. I'm all "themed" out right now :)

Edit: Second photo fixes it. Still not sure which dock icons I want to keep yet

Yeha I thought about that..but when i go into Applications/Categories I dont see any background.png file.. which I thought its weird.. I see default.png though.

Edit: oops.. got it.. didnt thinking to check the Launcher folder.
Edit #2: replaced the background.png file in the Launcher folder but it still shows a dark background on my iphone..hm.. Any ideas?

What icon theme are you using?

Can you please post your Default.png? The beachball looks a lot nicer than the loading folder. Thanks in advance.

Assistance needed

Hey guys,

Anyone able to let me know why my transparant d/l'd png files are showing up like this? Even when scaled down in size they are always blown back up.

I have tried ssh'ing & replacing the default Icon.png in the appropriate app folder and this is the result.

I believe I have had success with other applications this way in the past but now use iFuntastic to give me a little more access around the phone. Even iFuntastic was not able to create a perfect icon for BeejiveIM.

Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks

The icon needs to be 59x60 (or 60x60) so if you want it to appear small, add blank space around your smaller icon to make it that size.

Thank you for the quick reply. But how is it that I am able to make other icons smaller? 32x32 or even 16x16 (without adding a blank space around it) I prefer that when I touch the icon that it only registers on the small image and not also a blank area around it. Perhaps some apps just don't allow this?

Apologies for that -- you have a much better handle on the situation than I gave you credit for. Is it just app store applications that are misbehaving? Are you using winterboard to switch the icons or are you editing them directly in the application's folder?
