Advise?

Widget wallpapers take priority in WinterBoard over other wallpapers. To correct this, just drop the wallpaper you want to use into the weather widget theme folder instead of the normal theme folder.

were did you find your background the wood one? its dimmed correct?
also i downloaded your clear folders but im new to this stuff how do i find where it is in cyberduck? there are too many folders to find where to paste it.
thanks

It depends how you want to use the folders. If you want to use them as an app icon, then put it in /library/themes/your theme/icons

If you want to use it as a category icon put it in /applications/categories/icons

I'm not sure if I have that exact shade anymore, but just take this and adjust the saturation

Some more minor tweaks...

Minor mod to weather widget on homescreen (Not quite sure about it yet), Actual Calendar App embedded into Weather widget, and some mods to status notifier icons

Still keeping my eye out for some replacement dock icons that complement the look I'm after. I've actually changed them out a few times, but always end up coming back to the stock icons. Trash Bin is my Stacks icon.

which theme is this?

It's Tenuis.

Most of the icons I picked up through out the creators topic here. People have created a TON of icons for it and generally do some request also. There's about 90 pages already with icons on dang near every page. :)

Built a Dashboard style weather widget for my Leopard theme. It was a pain in the azz, and took me forever, mainly because I don't know what the heck I'm doing...a lot of trial and error (and re-springs). It's a combination of a few of things (widgets/plists, and my theme itself) I'm going to play around with it some more and try to make it look a little better. Might add some transparency to the weather icons themselves, change the dock icons so they complement the overall color scheme, or change the color of the widget. Not sure which direction I should go yet...just glad it's working.

Edit:

I think "Tango" looks a little better

For those of you who want to use the weather widget, with any wallpaper, without having to manually combine them, there is now a solution.

It's called, "WbApp," and can be downloaded from Cydia.

The best part, is that you can configure it right from your iPhone, with no SSH required. :)

I'm not sure if I downloaded it at some point, or if it was part of the Winterboard update, or the WbApp tool itself (I suspect the later), but the option is listed in Winterboard as WbWeatherWidget.

Have fun. :)

I am finally happy with mine. I just need to figure out how to actually make blank icons spots so my desktop icons can be labeled and not have a bunch of icons that say "blank" in the spaces. lol. oh and i do not know how i got such a large respring icon. it just grew. hahaha

I dont know any real way, but what i did was create a bunch of webapps named "blank" and then i ssh'ed an invisible .png into winterboard for blank.app and wa-la a bunch of invisible links google that space out your other icons

does anyone know how to take a screenshot of the 'slidetounlock' screen? it just goes black when i hold home and click the lock/unlock button.

also, on my mac, if there is a way to take a screenshot of the window that asks for my password when i come back from screensaver, i would greatly appreciate hearing it.

I've posted that twice already in this thread. Thanks for the scoop!

The hard disk is an image in Categories. You may have to download the categories extra icons from Cydia, not sure.

Arranging icons on some of the screen is simple.

1. Install Steffwiz's source in Cydia (just search for it)

2. Install Blank icons from Cydia (section called "Blanks" show up once source is installed)

3. Blank icons are used the exact same way regular icons are used, except invisible. So place them where ever you want a space.

Lock Screen

Very nice lock screen! Did you custom build it? Where did you get the calendar?

Currently, I have the 'Famous Quotes' lockscreen widget, but it won't share the screen with the weather widget, although it would be great if I could get it to work together.

Any tips? :)
