The raven was posing in front of Fifth Avenue boardwalk in Indialantic, FL. I call it "dawn patrol" - not very original I know but that's when I took it. East Coast gets great waves in winter and hurricane season!

I haven't gotten around to very many beach pictures, but I took the attached ones from our boat off of Provincetown, MA. I have many others of this scene, and a lot more of boats, but if you want beaches in it, these are two of the better ones.

I'm going to Portugal in three weeks for week of surfing (I'll be having two lessons a day ), so hopefully I'll have some nice pic's to post when I get back.

I may even be standing on a surfboard in some of them

Geez sometimes I forget how beautiful my backward is ..Amazing how dead the beach looks there, now you cant even find a spot to put your towel. Let me guess, your hotel was around 30th and Collins?

My wife and I just baught a house a block from the beach. Wont move in till next spring due to an extention that needs to be built. just try to remember to start this thread up next year.....

I cant swim, and I hate the sun.

You sound like someone I know. Never got along terribly well with them. I couldn't care less about the sun or the temperature outside. Doesn't matter to me if I'm in shorts and a t-shirt or a huge jacket and snow pants during the Winter, air temperature really doesn't affect me too much (though the huge jacket and snow pants would be admittedly uncomfortable in the Summer.) So when we went out during the Summer, she always trade to find the shady route when I wanted to take the direct route, or at least a scenic one.

Can't stand water temperatures though. Water is just cold to me in general.

I live in Florida where it's always summer time so I'll be posting pics here throughout the cold northern months. The beaches in Brevard county have the best waves on the East coast!
