Last year it was Mojave beta, this year Catalina. Hoping for nine years of current MacOS support for this 2012 MBP, but if Apple attempts to obsolete it next year, I'll be ready to mod / patch if necessary.

full decade later. None of today's Macs will offer this kind of cost to performance to longevity ratio, and certainly not the $5,999 Mac Pro.
