It's rather weird and refreshing seeing the dialogs without pinstripes. Smooth and new.

I use to think Tiger's pinstripes were so subtle. Then you see how coarse it is against it, when its without.
 
Just finished upgrading. It feels good. :D

Does it run pretty decent on there? Does Spaces work smoothly, etc.?

basic finder functions are as quick or quicker than Tiger. Graphics-intensive processes are choppy (8 MB VRAM). Spaces works well enough for me to use, but would not be something I would want to show off using this computer.

Still debating whether to install on my G3 iBook.

I'm trying to figure out why "startup disk" is not shown in the "about this mac" window. Weird. Possibly from the cloning?

At least it runs it good enough for normal use. Imagine what Vista would be like on a 400MHz Compaq. :eek:

It seemed slow to me on my friend's relatively new Sony Vaio.
