Wow, the 20" & 30" are a HUGE difference... I know it's obvious, but it looks huge!

It's true. I've now accustomed myself to the 30-inch, having used the 20-inch display for 9 months or so. When I saw a 20-inch the other day I couldn't help but wonder how I got anything done on that screen! It looked almost toy-like…

yeah its a 20" lol... it is dwarfed compared to the 30 but its nice to keep around to have all my crap on like my calendar and torrents lol :)

plus it comes in handy with aperture and final cut

post some more people, i like to see and get ideas :)

Sure thats a 20"? looks like a 23"

If that's a 23", I'd HATE to see it next to the 20" ;) lol

I know! At school, I grew accustom to the 20" iMacs and I bought a 24" and even THAT makes the 20" seem small... I'd love a 30" screen, but I actually like the thought of 2 24"ers. I'm savin' for a Dell... Unless I find better.

definitely do NOT get the gateway 24"... my original plan was to get that and a 24" imac and i saw them together upclose and it sucked so bad... the gateway washes and is fuzzy compared to the imac... definitely check on the dell... (or just wait for the next ACD revision since they will prob release a 24"er)

Yeah, ACD revision may be my best bet overall. I've heard the Dell has the same panel, but the panel is only as good as the chip running it...

The panel dell uses is not always the same. It can either be an S-IPS or an S-PVA. Even within those two options, there are different model numbers of panels being used.

thank you :) ...the desk was originally purchased from IKEA in seattle but from what I can tell they don't sell it anymore.. at least not on their site... it's something like an "architect desk" if I remember correctly

@willlisac: If you ever see a for-sale link to that desk I want a link right away. Gorgeous desk! Gorgeous ACD's too.
