everyone and their grandmother uses GMail; it still is and probably always will be the best webmail experience.

i honestly think Microsoft has done a great job with the latest iteration of hotmail

so much so that I pretty much prefer using their web client over gmail's these days

how do you heavily customize Android like that?

i have a locked HTC One and can't seem to do anything like that, or find a theme like it.

Launcher - Nova
Theme - Click U
Widget - UCCW Typo

With Nova you can change so much, grid size especially helps when customising.

My HTC One unrooted also so its all available in the Play Store :D

I haven't used Hotmail for years. For a long time I was using my ISP's email service. I was using Rogers email in eastern Canada and Shaw email when I was in western Canada. But since I've been back in Ontario though I've decided to just use my Yahoo! email seeing as I can't use my Shaw one anyway unless I log in through their website. I don't trust Google and I probably wouldn't trust Microsoft either with my emails. Maybe Yahoo! is no better but I haven't heard anything about them regarding users personal info.

+1 to Nova. It's my default launcher no matter what phone I use. @Mikey86uk if you have a HTC One, root the device and install a custom ROM to get even more options to customize colors, clocks, batteries... etc. I recommend ViperOne.

This is my HTC One X (International) home screen. I have just finished installing and setting up an AOSP 4.2.2 rom in replacement for a sense 4 rom that I was running. I had a hatred for Sense so finally decided to just get rid of it :p

I am using Apex launcher and Digital Clock Widget from the play store.

I really love the stability of iOS but it just bothers me that one has to "jailbreak" their iOS to customize it like one can customize Android. On another thread I was just one I saw some awesome jailbroken iOS screenshots with some cool customization. it would be nice if Apple let us customize the UI any way we want without jailbreaking.

I've only ever used iPhones, never had an Android smartphone. I agree with your post. I would love to be able customize my iPhone like how you all customize your Android phones. Apple should give iPhone owners this freedom of customization without the need to jailbreak. I love this thread and seeing how everyone customizes their home screens differently. They all look amazing guys!

FINALLY installed CyanogenMod 10.2 on my HTC One. Another minimalistic homescreen from me! :)

MFlat by Mushcube. Great icons!

EDIT: I got tired of Trebuchet (the launcher that comes with CyanogenMod) so I reinstalled Nova Launcher. Was playing around and decided to keep this as my new setup. I LOVE it.

The middle image is my homescreen, others are to the left and right of the home. One page is also showing my other dock page.

These themes look really good.

Is there any idiot proof (plug and play type) themes that look like any of these?

Getting bored of the original HTC One look.
