Nice! That looks like our paper wasps (Genus Polistes) but a bit darker...

This is a female harlequin beetle, Acrocinus longimanus. As you can see, getting bitten by one of these critters is no laughing matter!

Here's a Macro shot I did of a Snail making a home in a doorway in Santorini. I wanted to make the textures of the wood, grass and stone part of the photo too, hence the angle of the shot.

Here's one from the first batch of RAWs from my new G9. Very pleased with the results so far.
This flower is about 1cm across and I didn't even see the little guy until I went in for the shot!
