I don't get how anybody could enjoy that song. I mean, my favorite type of music would be hip-hop/rap, but I just can't listen to that song! It's so stupid.

A friend works for Mastercraft as their agent in Britain... So... whenever I am in the South Carolina (Where my house in the states is...) I use this boat/one like it... That one is the one that I actually own :p

I guess it depends on what you mean by "time of need" and how that relates to the economy. If you're talking about someone who's been out of a job for quite some time, and has had to sell the boat to make ends meet, I see what you mean - but if you're still working, then what's the difference? Doesn't it make sense that such a person might still be able to snap a pic of their boat, regardless of what the credit market or Dow Jones are doing lately?

by time of need i don't necessarily want to address the stock market, because even though stocks may be doing bad not everyone is doing bad financially. so yes, i meant if some one loses a job and has no income, a boat might be that first thing to go. no, i don't mean if the Dow Jones is doing crappy but you have a steady income that you should sell a boat.

It's enjoyable BECAUSE it's so stupid. If you ever seen this one video from a certain rapper - I can't remember the name or title, you'll see that it's almost identical style to this video. So I just fell on the floor laughing when I saw the Incredibad version. :D

How do you like it? I've been looking at those for a couple years now. It would suit my family needs perfectly.

The 180 has been great for us. THe lake our cottage is on isn't very large, so 17.5 ft is just about perfect. Even with 5 or 6 people in the boat, it will pull up a skier with minimal fuss. I highly recommend them. :D

Not exactly my Mastercraft ski boat with a tower and barefoot boom I want, but they get me out on the water!

Actually, what my post meant was that good economy or bad, there aren't that many people with a boat to post pictures of.

Depends on where you are...in Minnesota, where there are lakes everywhere, the number of watercraft per capita is highest in the country...or was at some point in the past couple years, at 1 boat for every 6 people. Interestingly, Hawaii was at the bottom of the list with one boat for every 95 people...though it takes more investment to get a bigger boat that can handle the ocean, I suspect. :D

Hmm so it's my grandfather's boat. Still. 2004, 40'er. Made by Tiara Yachts of Holland, Michigan. Two 500HP Cummins diesels...try tubing behind 1000HP at full throttle.

He just got back from doing the "Loop" which is a route that started in MI and continued down the Mississippi, out into the Gulf of Mexico, up into the Atlantic, throught the Eerie Canal and back into the Great Lakes, etc. Started in October 2008 and finished in June 2009. I was lucky enough to be on board with him while he came back into his home town. I snapped this pic. ;)

Doesn't really do the boat justice. The cabin is incredible.

Tall Ships Youth Trust - Stavros S Niarchos

Obviously not mine, but a brig I sailed on for 11 nights with the Tall Ships Youth Trust in July. The trip was sponsored by HSBC who payed for 48 teenagers across the UK to sail with the TSYT from Newcastle to London via Great Yarmouth and Scheveningen in Holland. Honestly one of the best experiences of my life (so far) and an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life regardless of all the sleepless nights we had on watch :D

Not Yet!

Unfortunately it's not mine...yet!

Money is a bit tight right now. School n' junk. But I will have enough to buy this sucker sometime within the next 2 months. Talking to other kayakers in the area, I hear there are lakes around Coquitlam/Port Moody that are beautiful all year round for Kayaks, so I'm definatly looking forward to spending most of my Christmas break on the water. :D

It's an Azul Krypton. Great for a Beginner/Noob like me. :D

This is my favorite boat in the thread. She looks beautiful blinkie :).

Thanks Andy. We've only been day sailing so far. But there are plans for a five day sail off the west coast of Scotland, I can't wait.
