just moved to a new location in a different area in Tokyo and changed my ISP, too. Again having a Hikari-Fiberoptical line direct to my desk.
Connected via a 5th gen AirPort Extreme I get extreme nice values

very happy camper here :)

Still "unhappy" with my Xi-MobileWifi Router; don't reach the values of 37MBit/s as in marketing slides; but for daily commuting live it is actually ok

Wow, cable here not so great.

FIOS at my dads place, rock solid 25Mb down, 25Mb up, and 8ms ping. Wish we had FIOS up where I lived in NH.

80GB limit - that's pretty brutal. Bandwidth is going up across most ISPs, user consumption is also climbing - but most companies are reducing quotas... Part of me wants to kill off my cable TV for the likes of Amazon VOD, and Hulu... but the other part of me sees my ISP shrinking our monthly limit to the point where those will be impossible to support.

When it's good, it's pretty good. (Time Warner / Roadrunner)

BT Fibre connection

It's always that strong which is the best thing about it. Non fibre connection was so unreliable.
