I tested my results on my old Sawtooth G4 1.2 Mhz, 1.31 Gig RAM. I don't know enough to know if it the download or upload speeds are any good. It's residential Verizon DSL. Thiry bucks/month.

Here's mine:

I think the first one may have been a flaw. I tried a few other times and the second one is more realistic.

My GLORIOUS Speed!

At home i was stuck with 5000/512 but now that i'm in residence at college i've been getting 15000/7000.

Picture 1.png

V 2,920Kbps
/\ 372Kbps

For some reason though, my internet has been sluggish all day, normally its at 4Mbps-5Mbps, I'm gonna complain to my ISP, I'm meant to be getting 10Mbps!!!

Cheers

heres mine Time Warner Road Runner :

Last Result:
Download Speed: 4798 kbps (599.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 464 kbps (58 KB/sec transfer rate)

Right, I've just tried a speed test on a server in Europe rather than America and here are my results..

\/ 9.59Mbps
/\ 283Kbps

I'm shocked!!! I never knew it was that fast!!

I have a question for you guys, if my connection is at 10Mbps as its supposed to be, why do my downloads only reach a maximum of like 1.5Mbps?

Cheers

here's mine... i have no idea why my upload speed is so slow...

Geez, the upload is so fast that you ran out of space for the "1" digit in front.

Edit: here's mine.. Kinda surprised its that high. It's Cox Cable. We're switching to FiOS 30/5 in a few weeks.

I've been on 1.5 Mbit DSL for the last 4 years, so I'm switching to cable (SHAW) next month for a 5 Mbit connection :) for only 3 dollars more. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I'll post soon.

Currently 1280 kBit download. 400 kBit upload.

Does dial-up suck really, really bad or what?

15576 kbps Upload

okay, gonna run it again, see what comes up...

91917 kbps download
17844 kbps upload
