^ you have one in fahrenheit the other in Celsius, i dont think you have a problem at all, considering!

I'm not sure what your point is about the fahrenheit and the celsius, I just do that because this is an international community....

As for the temperatures, this is with all fans at their maximum speed. without them on full blast, it's more like this:

Still here.
47.8ºC on my PowerBook G4 sitting flat on a desk.

This is while playing music in iTunes, chatting in Adium, surfing the net in both Shiira and Firefox, Mail is running, Dashboard is running 4 widgets, editing a company site in Rapidweaver, using ToyViewer to enhance a few small images, etc.

Average temperature is usually right around 45ºC. :)

why dont we test our systems like this
make your system running at 100% cpu load using Systemload

http://www.bresink.de/osx/SystemLoad.html

Run it for about 10 minutes and read the temperature using CoreDuoTemp

http://macbricol.free.fr/coreduotemp/

I ran it for 10min and my temp is 74C on a MBP C2D 15" 2.33.

i hope somone can post the same on a 17" as ihear they may run coolers. also i have Invisible Shield Full Armor on my MBP and would like to find out if that adds more heat.

Texas, unfortunately.
I'm running Safari, iTunes and iChat. been running for 20 minutes, fans at minimum speed. (1500 RPM)

Next picture is 2 and half minutes after I put the fans at max speed (5500 RPM)

EDIT: Oh yeah, It's a Core Duo Mac Mini 1.83 GHz, 512 mb RAM, 80 gb HD.

update

here's a screen shot - this is under somewhat regular use, although the average temperature of CPU A, i would say, hovers around 53, not 58. fans running around 1500/2000.
