It's evening now, but you can see the highs for the week. 102-105 degree heat indexes. We're about four hours north of the Gulf of Mexico. We just returned from the panhandle of Florida where there's at least a breeze and a chance of rain everyday.

Well, it's winter down here so here's my widget.

Top is in °C, bottom in °F.

And all you Englander-types are soft, you guys getting into the 40°C+ can complain all you want but 30°C isn't even close to being warm. I'd still be wearing jeans on a 30°C day.

Remarkably similar weather down here at the moment. It was a bit wet over the weekend, but we really really need more rain. A good solid week or two.

In Copenhagen.

Yes, the capital of Denmark, not the US town also called "Copenhagen", that the weather widget selects by default when you set Denmark as your locality in OSX.

Neat, that, when you buy a new computer, it automatically shows the weather from a place with the same name as your own, but it is really on an entirely different continent! Very misleading and confusing. And BTW Copenhagen (the orignal one) existed before the USA did.

But Australia is generally a hot country. Our maritime climate and global positioning means that it very rarely gets hot although our winters do tend to be mild. Being a small island also means that in the summer, it does not get as hot due to there not being as much land to heat up. I would love to live in Australia, if not for the way of life, but the weather and surfing is also an attraction.

Try moving a bit further south, its wonderfully mafting here
I'd rather not move further south, if it's all the same with you. I can see Lincolnshire from our building and that's enough to make me feel a little queasy sometimes. ;)

26°C here at the mo, according to my weather widget. It's not been quite as hot as yesterday, and at least we've now got some rain forecast for Thursday. I loves me some rain. :)

I pity those who suffer 30F+ year round. It's been here a few days and I've had enough! Tomorrow is going to be 34C (93F) in Manchester, England. Usually it just rains up here :p
