Anyhow, I could not find a "New users say Hello" thread. I searched. I guess I will say hello here.

Hopefully that worked - this is my first screen shot since I got my very first Mac back in October ... MBP Late 2011 - LOVE it

Oh and I'm OBSESSED with NEw York - got my first modern apple product (had the first ever ipod and thats it) in the 5th avenue store in September - iPad2 - love it too!!

How to I embed an image into the post?

Upload it to photobucket.com, or any other reliable image host (i use photobucket > 3 years). If you use photobucket, make sure you have enabled the Flash Player plugin. Set your photobucket-preferences (upload size, album privacy, "random" file names for uploaded images and so on), before you upload your first image. Then copy the direct link of the picture, and use TIMG tags, instead of IMG tags here on MR to embed the image.

By the way, and this is a general question - how come people just do not post their background images rather than screen shots? This would certainly cut down on people having to constantly ask for the images...
