You can change what the icons look like?

Yes, with a free app called "Candy Bar", look at my apps and you will see the icons are diferent from default, I even changed the utilities.

Then you you can search for your icons online, but the best place is considered to be deviantart.com

Look at post #14 in this thread, the user changed his icons too.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the first icon (not the flash drive, floppy or CD) is a punch card.

And a punch card was the only thing I could think the first picture could be too.
