Where did you get the Application, Download and document icons from? I like me.

Mine is VERY simple compared to everybody else's.

:apple: Finder
:apple: Safari
:apple: Mail
:apple: Photonic
:apple: iTunes
:apple: MacCaching
(Divider. Duh.)
:apple: Applications

:apple: Trash

I can't stand having a huge dock.

someone has to have a better way to do that isntead of putting those in your folder and then displaying stacks.

could you make the file like a system file that is hidden so you can not see it in the folder?
You do know that you can choose to display the folder icon now instead of the fugly stack, right?

But I do still wish there were a more elegant way to use the drawer icons...

ya i know that i use stack on downloads and my home folder and folder for apps and utility

ya drawers would be cool if the icon wasn't there.

before when you couldn't choose it to be a folder i put an icon in the folder to make it nice but i took it out the next day because it was stupid
 kinda stuck

Here's my new dock from left to right:

Finder
Mail
Safari
System Preferences

"Design" Stack with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and OmniGraffle
"Dev" Stack with Cyberduck, Dashcode, Quartz Composer, Smultron, Terminal, XCode.
"iLife" Stack with GarageBand, iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes, iWeb.
"iWork" Stack with Keynote, Numbers, and Pages
"Web" Stack with Camino, Firefox, iChat, Mail, and Safari.

This system actually works well, and all you have to do to make it work is make a new folder for each stack somewhere and then place aliases to the apps in this folder.

Nothing amazing unfortunately.

Default 2D Leopard dock: Finder, Dashboard, Safari, Mail, Adium, Colloquy, iTunes, Application Stack, Trash.

I tried having all of my apps in my dock for a little while but I hated it.
