Hey, was just wondering if anyones made a replacement mail app icon of a British stamp??
Cheers

I have one somewhere that I found on dA ages ago. If you can't find it, PM me and I'll send you it but I'd rather not distribute someone else's icons.

Hey guys, newbie here. I'm trying to learn how to change the dock and hopefully get through it like how I did with geektools. One question I have though is, did you all change the icons for all your apps in the app folder or just the ones in the dock?

Here is a link to software used to change around many of the icons.

CandyBar

It works very well and it's easy to put things back to the default appearance

That. Is. Gorgeous!

Where did you get the dock & icons and do they come in black?

they do come in black, here is the dock from my MBP

they are called Blob au mieux, but they dont come with colored names, i had to do that myself. I liked how it looked so i added color, but you need to use PS to do it.

Pretty plain, simple dock. I've been wanting to use Candybar for so long now, but I've never been able to find it. Oh well, I'm happy with the stuff I got.

Does anyone know how to remove the Finder icon from your Dock?

I would love to save that kind of space...

Not possible. It is stuck there for good, but you can change how it looks.

edit- Mr.Noisy where do you get those dock indicators?

After about an hour trying to figure out how to use Candybar (I always assume an app is more complicated then it actually is) I finally got my dock perfect (almost, I hate the way the stacks are just a little taller than anything else...but that's just the OCD in me)

Finder, Firefox, Safari, iTunes, Mail, Adium, Transmission (can someone make a uTorrent icon for me?!?!?!) iPhoto :: Apps Stack, Downloads Stack, Trash.

I downloaded the indicators and they were black, I just adjusted to levels and turned the sharpness all the way down to try and make them seem glowy. I'm happy with it, but I would be happier with the stacks being the same height as everything else, and a uTorrent icon

they are standard using simple dock in candybar, just finished my new dock, more cheerful app icons & nice grey dock with embossed separator, 2 min job using a lil old program call photoshop, added fluid indicators in candybar:

The indicators are posted here for download.

Enjoy

thanks for posting those links srl7741, Benguitar was relating to the simple dock from candybar a few posts back, the fluid indicators are being used on my new dock, i used them before, got bored, now using them again, what i want is an indicator that makes the app icon explode when you open it, then sit there on fire till you close it, that would be pretty cool...........;)

Maybe we'll get that option in 10.7: Fire Leopard.
