I love street art and live in NYC, so I wanted something that reflects what I see daily in my area on my MBP. Plus I don't like 3D type icons... 2D icons FTW. I'm a bit old school I guess

Vertical real estate is worth more to me than horizontal real estate, so I keep my dock on the side.


Off topic: it is really surprising how few people know how to take screenshots of single applications (with an alpha layer, drop shadow, etc).

they're the Flurry icon set by david lanham, great guy who does a bunch of icon sets: http://dlanham.com/

I use Deeper for the spaces.
The microphone is LineIn.
Folders: Applications, FLV Downloads (from YouTube), Temp folder for pictures taken from the internets, web links, school stuff, and downloads.



I really want to put my dock on top (under the menu bar)! But no, Apple won't allow that even with terminal commands

Yea I've always wondered why people like those ones too. They're too boring for me.

They are just too boring and plain. Icons are meant to help you find the application easily. If you make them all the same with just a line of text in the middle, then that almost defeats the purpose for me.

But it is just a dock so I am not going to start an argument and go off topic with it, but icon mods aren’t for me (excluding changing the VLC icon, of corse).
