Thank you. When I do a switch on the icons though, just the picture with the png at the bottom shows up, not the icon. what else can be done?

you are such a helpful mod! thanks a ton. that program is excellent, works like a charm.
i had one other question.
i know how to manually change my icons without candy bar, and when i am on my imac, if i bring up the get info screen on an icon i manually changed, all i have to do is select it, and hit esc. and it goes back to normal. but on my macbook its not doing that. what do you suggest?

Do you mean backspace (or delete)? If not, then try that instead...
If you are trying the backspace (or delete) then is it one (or a few) icons that refuse to go back, or all (that has custom icons)?
okay i got it, i was hitting the esc key and i should have been hitting delete.

Left to right: iTunes 1, iTunes 2, iTunes 3 and the last one was used for both iTunes 4 and 5. (Check out the filenames when you're holding the mouse over them...

got it, well when i hover the mouse over them, no additonal info pops up, is there a setting i need to turn on, or a different way to go about things?

Nothing like this if you hover over (one of) them in my post above...?
Works for me in both Camino and Safari. You haven't turned off tooltips or something? (I use to do that in Firefox where the tooltips in the Bookmarks bar is totally annoying.)
Decided to go for some uniformity... stupid iCal changes back to default after it's been opened.
Where did you get these? I have been craving uniformity!
