Reminds me of the historic Farnsworth home in Plano, Illinois. It was also in the Kenny Chesney music video 'Dont Blink"

I've always wanted either an earth-sheltered home (which we almost built too, but the earth it was to be sheltered in has a spring) or a small stately home. Which we also almost bought but it was too horrible inside. Think they made it into an old peoples home now.

I don't have one but something very modern with a great view with not a lot of neighbors around.

That was sorta the inspiration behind the house. I've always loved that home, but its getting old and outdated, so I wanted to design a more modern version of it.

it's certainly an interesting place to visit, but I found the constant sound of water to be a bit... distracting?

my personal would be the Robie house if i were to choose a FLW design

I heard that Fallingwater has a lot of trouble with mold and mildew (no surprise). Wright did a few houses that characterize his style and look pretty cool. Some are kind of ugly, but a few really stand out.

And I'd want it complete with Iron Man suit, Jarvis AI, the whole nine. (Female reporter optional.)

The cool thing about that house is the location. I love that location.

I love the Arts & Crafts style.

Frank Lloyd Wright was an awesome designer, but an AWFUL engineer. Most of his homes have had to have tons of money spent on them to keep them from falling apart. The Fallingwater had millions of dollars spent on it because the living room (The part extended over the river) was having large sagging problems.
