That house is vile! It looks like a multi storey car park. What a tremendous waste of money.

The guy that built it supposedly started 1-800-DENTIST. Spent 2 years in Chicago building it and supposedly his wife came to the conclusion that Chicago is too cold, so he tried selling it for $26 million but then ended up trying to put it up for auction starting at $6 million.

That's a really cool building, very north end of the pike place market would be a little busy sometimes for me personally but other than that you can't beat the location and view.

Pike Place Market is a neat area. It's crowded so I'm sure that it gets noisy during the day.

Bet they have a nice view -- especially from the higher apartments.

Yeah the noise was what I was thinking of. Lot of cars and people. Particularly during the summer, particularly during events. But you're in the middle of it all right there, and it has a parking garage! Plus I can think of worse things than being next door to beecher's.. I lived about six blocks from that building about ten years ago and it always caught my eye when I was out & about.
