Both of mine are Ivar's mugs but not because they're Ivar's mugs (although that place is great). The ceramic one is because it's comfortable to hold and super thick (like diner mugs) so it retains heat really well. That's important in an arid environment like in Colorado where heat dissipation it very fast.

Nice mug. I like it.

My wife has this thing about buying coffee cups, I don't understand but it's one of her things.
I don't have a favorite, I just grab one out of the cabinet, add coffee, go sit and drink.

The "Coffee Heartbeat Mug" (from CafePress).

I've been thinking about getting this one lately because it just cracks me up. For the java to have that effect on me though it would probably have to be a 24oz mug (because I put a lot of milk in my coffee) and this one's only a 15. I'm still tempted.

This one. Never had the chance to have a coffee mug of my own (mainly because I have most of my coffees and teas outside) but if I had, this would be my favorite.

I love mugs! Technically I think this is supposed to be a tea mug, given the matching pot; but I use it for coffee.

Graduated from IUB in 1977. I picked this mug up on my last trip back to the campus in about 1996 ... been drinking coffee out of this mug for over 25 years... the silkscreening is starting to wear, but so far, no chips!

.. the newest mugs added to my collecion -- three different sizes, and so far, three quite different uses. All enjoyed, but the small 'espresso' mug (to the right) has really gathered most of my attention, and has been warming me the most, though not with coffee, I have been using it with liquor 'shots' and liqueurs.

One I got in celebration of the eclipse a few years ago:

One I saw in the store a few years ago that I was *REALLY* tempted to buy as my "in the office" mug, but I've been working remote almost all the time, so didn't bother. When I do go in to the office, I just use a company-branded mug from the break room cabinets.
